Lovely vintage porcelain salt cellar or ashtray by top class Portugese manufacturer Vista Alegre. Although Vista Alegre describe this shape as an ashtray, most people assume that they are table salts. If you want a stylish ornament that doubles as an ashtray, a table salt or a trinket dish, then this is ideal. Beautifully decorated in gold with the Coat of Arms of King Carlos and Queen Amelia of Portugal, a replica from the palace collection, produced between 1980- 1992.
